Stillpoint: on the outskirts of Lurgan, Co Armagh, Stillpoint was established in response to a congregational aspiration for a House of Prayer in Ireland in which 'alternative ways of being community' might be explored. A core of five sisters have developed a Mercy community, living reflectively and contemplatively. The house offers sacred space for those wishing to be alone to experience the stillness and quietness: alternatively participants may also share in the prayer of the community and outreach programmes. The newly-refurbished 'peace corridor' is a self-contained unit.

The Sisters who are part of the apostolate of Mercy see the work they do as fulfilling a great desire for prayer and healing in this modern secular world.
