Meeting

It commenced with two,
Two women greeting, meeting, supporting, sharing,
Somewhere high in a hill country,
Aware of Mercy's birthing energy within.
The stars were there.

It commenced with two,
Another place, another clime
Two women come together and spend time
Dreaming Love's dream of Mercy everywhere.
And what about the stars?
Were they there?
We didn't hear and anyway,
It's hard to read the night sky from the city square.

It commenced with two,
And then the dream just spread its wings and flew.
Now countless women birth the dream anew,
That Mercy will not fold herself and rest,
But must go forward in an endless quest
To north and south and east and west,
Warming those who feel the margins chill,
Till all of life is wrapped in Mercy's dream.
And yes! The stars are there.
