Who we are

Mercy Centre is run by the Sisters of Mercy and a Core Group of lay people. Inspired by the gospel and the vision of Catherine McAuley, the Centre provides an environment of peace and rest where persons from all walks of life are welcomed and find hospitality, caring and healing.

What We Do

Adult Education/Personal Enrichment We offer personal development, Inner Child, Enneagram, creative days, Focusing, Creative Writing and Coping with Grief Workshops. To highlight justice issues on the local, national and international scene, our Mercy Justice Group facilitates Justice workshops e.g Faith & Justice today.

Healing Ministry
We offer reflexology, aromatherapy, yoga, focusing, music, art & drama therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, creative writing, de- stressing and relaxation exercises.

Spirituality
The Centre offers a quiet space where people can reflect on the meaning of life and find the God who dwells within them.
Our programmes offer relaxation techniques, meditation, music, visualisation, Scripture prayer, faith sharing, and different ways of praying. We also lead Reflection Days for parish groups.
