The Sisters of Mercy are an International Congregation of vowed religious women in the Catholic Church. They were founded in Dublin Ireland in 1831.
As we come to the close of the Mercy Year what can we learn about “courage at the heart of Mercy” from a younger brother from the Muslim community in Kenya?
In October 2006, the Sisters of Mercy had a dream and from that dream a seed was born which over the last ten years has grown into a big tree. The tree is the Mater Comprehensive Care Unit in Nairobi, for the treatment and care of HIV infected clients.
