Makadara

This long established dispensary continues to be very busy with an average daily attendance of 290 to 300. Curative and MCH services are the main work but there are also many specialist clinics manned by the Lion’s Club every month. A VCT centre opened in May 2004 on acceptance of staff for training. Makadara serves a huge population from the surrounding areas where poverty is very real.

The Sisters are also involved in various ministries, teaching, justice and we also have students in the same community.
